Important disclosures
These plain-English disclosures explain what Fairway Retirement is, what our website provides, and where important limits apply.
Independent insurance brokerage
Fairway Retirement is an independent insurance brokerage. We are not a bank, registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, law firm, or tax-preparation firm.
Educational information only
Information on this website is for general education. It is not personalized investment, tax, or legal advice.
Product availability varies
Products, rates, features, carriers, underwriting outcomes, and suitability vary by state, carrier, age, health, deposit size, and personal circumstances.
No tax, legal, or investment advice
Annuities, life insurance, and Medicare decisions should be evaluated in light of your full situation, goals, liquidity needs, and timeline.
Product and service disclosures
Insurance and Medicare decisions involve contract terms, eligibility, state availability, and personal fit. These notes highlight the main items visitors should understand before relying on any product information.
Annuities
Annuities are insurance products, not bank products. They are not FDIC insured, not bank deposits, and not obligations of a bank. Guarantees depend on the claims-paying ability of the issuing insurance company. Surrender charges, holding periods, withdrawal restrictions, rider fees, and tax consequences may apply.
Fixed indexed annuities
Fixed indexed annuities are designed to protect against market loss of principal due to index declines, subject to contract terms. Credited interest can be limited by caps, participation rates, spreads, or other contract provisions. Examples and illustrations are educational only and are not guarantees of future results.
Life insurance
Coverage is subject to underwriting, policy terms, exclusions, and carrier approval. Premiums and availability vary by age, health, product type, state, and carrier.
Medicare
Medicare plan availability, benefits, formularies, provider networks, and premiums can change from year to year. Reviewing coverage annually is important.
Past performance and hypothetical examples
Past performance is not indicative of future results. Hypothetical examples, illustrations, and educational scenarios do not guarantee a specific outcome.
How we are compensated
In most cases, Fairway Retirement is compensated by insurance carriers when a client purchases an annuity, enrolls in a Medicare plan, or places certain insurance coverage through us. In general, clients do not pay a separate advisory fee for that assistance.
Our role is to help clients compare available options clearly and choose what fits their goals. Product compensation structures can vary by carrier and product, which is one reason we believe in being upfront about how this works.
Independence matters
Because we are independent brokers, we are not limited to a single carrier product shelf. Product availability still depends on carrier contracts, state approval, licensing, and client fit.
Licensing and service availability
Fairway Retirement serves clients in multiple states through licensed advisors. Service availability depends on the advisor active licensing and the product approval in your state.
